Question / possibility of joint procurement

For more efficient public procurement, the implementation of joint public procurement will continue to be important in the future. This increases direct savings due to economies of scale and indirect savings due to the implementation of the public procurement procedure in one place for several clients, which in particular affects the relief in smaller institutions and public companies, where personnel resources and professional knowledge are the most limited. Some municipalities already carry out joint public procurement for public institutions of which they are the owners, as well as joint public procurement by the government is carried out for many groups of procurement objects.

The advantages of joint procurement are:

• saving budget funds: direct (lower prices) and indirect (lower administration costs),
• fewer problems and complications when executing orders, because the order is executed by an experienced team,
• greater transparency and efficiency,
